ACE forges partnerships with individual donors, lenders, private and government agencies, foundations and corporations to secure loan and education funds for small businesses.

We feel fortunate and thankful to work with all of our partners and contributors for their kind participation in helping ACE achieve their mission of providing opportunities and financial freedom to micro enterprises.

Message from the President of Appalachian Community Enterprises

Dear Donor,

Do you believe that anyone who has a dream to own a small business, who works hard, is persistent and willing to learn can succeed?

Do you believe that the pathway to the “American Dream” is through building assets such as owning a home or business?

If you answered yes to these questions, then you share the same values as ACE.

Recent Nobel Peace Prize winner, Dr. Muhammad Yunus, has shown the world the dramatic impact of micro credit, which is providing small loans to poor people so that they might start or expand a small business, in developing countries. ACE combines the strategy of micro credit with business development training services, to help north Georgia small business owners compete in the sophisticated U.S. market.

ACE’s micro credit loan fund is self-sustaining; earned interest pays the costs of operating the fund. However, it is ACE’s business support programs that make the difference. Your support as an ACE Ambassador would allow us to provide our business support programs, such as financial mentoring, financial education and networking opportunities, that truly help ACE clients succeed. These programs are not self-sustaining and ACE relies on contributions so that we may offer affordable business support programs.

I invite you to support ACE and become an ACE Ambassador through making a tax-deductible contribution. As a result of small loans, reasonable interest rates, training in financial literacy, business and banking skills, ACE helps small business owners in achieving their goals and reaching their dreams. We welcome you to the ACE Ambassadors and thank you for your contribution and support.

Sincerely,

Grace Fricks
President and CEO, Appalachian Community Enterprises
