Business Start-Up & Planning

 

MicroMentor is an on-line mentor matching program. Once set up, mentor sessions are provided in person, on the phone or by email. ACE Board Member Mitchelle Johnson and North Georgia Rotary Clubs are involved in this program. 

SCORE, an association of experienced business owners and managers, can provide free advice and low cost training either on-line or in person. Atlanta and Dalton, Georgia SCORE chapters provide local assistance. The Dalton chapter may be reached via email, at SCORE@daltonchamber.org, or 706.279.3383. 

The Georgia SBDC Network is a service provider to the state’s small businesses. Georgia has a long history with the SBDC program, as one of the original pilot programs for the nation. Through the continued support of Congress via the SBA and the University System of Georgia, the Georgia SBDC Network assists small businesses in bringing innovations to the world market and jobs to our citizens. 

Business Blueprints is a 60-page business feasibility guide by the Arkansas Small Business Development Center.
